About John

I am an attorney who can help you with any and all of your needs, both litigation and transactional, and no case is too big or small.  I started my career as a law clerk to a Federal District Court Judge, and then joined the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins where I represented plaintiffs and defendants in all types of commercial litigation.  I then worked as a prosecutor at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.  I spent the past seven years working in finance. I am a former Mayor and Councilmember, and currently the President of the California Department of Consumer Affairs Acupuncture Board.

I am a proud graduate of Loyola High School, and earned my B.A. from Yale University, an M.Sc. from Oxford University, and my law degree from Stanford University.
